Great view of the Clear Creek Resesvior from this cache.You can hike in from the Granite cemetery (US 24 to CR 398, turn left at CR 398D)about 2 miles to the cache, might not be accessable in winter or US 24 to CR 390(Clear creek). Clear creek side is steep. Or hike in from the power line/Cache creek parking area.
Round plastic camo container w/screw on lid. Cache includes a log & pencil, garter,patriotic button, HD key fob, bouncy ball, mini handcuffs, crystal marble.

What an adventure! The sage flats above the creek was the easy part-it was winding through the dog hair thicket trees up the 3 ridges that was the challenge. Then the amazing view at GZ where we circled & circled until I finally spotted something unusual & found the cache. I wanted to get this one last year from the Reservoir but didn't have enough time B4 dark & it would have been extremely steep!
Leaves up here are changing already for a very early fall.

Wow, 4 years since someone found this. I can see why, the hike up to the cache from the cemetery is tough for an old flat lander, once you leave the creek it is mostly bushwhacking through some rough country. The view is great and the cache is in excellent condition. TFTF
