Have you ever looked for a cache that is hidden among rocks? Or a cache that has intended poor GPS reception. Or a cache where it is difficult to triangulate the coordinates? This cache is all of those things rolled into one.

Parking on highway 119 is unsafe. Safe parking is available at the parking coordinates (see below). It is a short 1/4 mile walk to the cache.

Look off the walking path for a well camo'ed container slightly smaller than a film canister. Bring your own writing tool.

Reports from the field are that this is an "evil" cache. Be forewarned this cache may take a while to find.

Finally, revenge on this rock pile!! I drove down to Longmont to do a little caching this afternoon. This was one of my two targets today and I scored both. I was armed with a hint that I received when CoBiker and ecanderson were at my house after they found my Park Place cache. But even with the hint it was a very lengthy search, probably an hour. I admit it was my third attempt at it and the first try with the hint. I turned over alot of rocks and was finally successful.

The log was wet so I took it into the sun to dry it out. I signed the log right below dllh and Treasuretrolls79 who found it about 3 1/2 years ago. Didn't see signatures of J.S.26514 and SaddleBug. Thanks CoBiker for this really TOUGH HIDE!!! It gets a fave!

Me and my better-half, CoachO, were on our way to Denver for the Geowoodstock Mega event and we have an extra week planned just to get there. From Watts Mill to Mingo to Tarryall, we have quite a trip route set out and are looking forward to the fun not knowing what we might run across. After leaving Michigan we stopped at a couple of cool and unique places and other special caches along with the occasional quickie thrown in for fun all the while stringing counties.
The Jeep started acting strangely and it took a couple sick days at a dealership in Longmont. So finding ourselves with a loaner and a couple days to kill in this area, we ran around grabbing some local caches and decided to kill time hiking this bike trail.
With that many stars and DNF's, we didn't look too long. So we put a time limit on it and when we hat it, we left.
Thanks for the hunt.

Bug Ranger and I looked around for about half an hour before calling it quits. We were even told where to look by the CO, but didn't find it. Recommend taking work gloves with you; those rocks are rough on your hands!
