Another ammo can in the series.
The cache is an ammo can located away from the creek side of Hamlin Gulch road. High clearance vehicle recommended. GPSr reception was poor with less than 20 feet accuracy. You will have a short climb up to a pine tree near two clusters of aspen trees. Cache contains a log book, pen and pencil, and a variety of trading items. Enjoy!

Out playing around with Team Red Rubicon, attempting to find access to Yankee Hill from the Idaho Springs side. Our first three trailhead attempts met a quick fate - either gated or too snowpacked for safe travel.

Our next attempt was Hamlin Gulch (this) and it seems like we're making progress here. Stopped for this cache at the end of this trail - at least for now. We are blocked by a padlocked gate. Oh well. Made quick work of locating it, signed in, then tried to figure out how to get the line turned around.
