Let's Play Poker

How to Play

This is a series of caches that has many different routes and will last forever with new hands coming out.  So, get ready to Play some Poker.

Hidden around the Colorado Springs, Manitou and surrounding areas will be hidden the standard 52 cards in a deck.  In order to use a card you must find it and log it.  Once you find the card, it is forever yours and you can use it at any "Hand" as long as it is not alrady in the hand.  The higher ranked cards will of corse be harder to find :)

Also placed around town are "Hands"

Each 'hand' contains five cards and are played like Texas Hold'em.  You are allowed to replace up to two cards with any of the ones you have found.  The best five cards win.  For Example:

You find Hand #1 - Which is:

5 of Diamonds, Ace of Hearts, 7 of Diamonds, King of Clubs and 6 of Diamonds.

The BEST hand you could have is the 9 of Diamonds and the 8 of Diamonds.

You may only use cards you have found to make a better hand...

You do not need to win in order to log any cache, However

On the log wirte best hand you can make and see how you rank...

There will be prizes hidden randomly throughout the hands and if you cannot beat the previous hand you cannot take the prize.

See if you can get the "BEST HAND" on every hand played.

Don't forget to HAVE FUN!!!

What to do while on a business trip? Yes - looking for some caches - this time during lunch break in the wider Colorado Springs area together with Traveling Jack. We were able to find this one following a thorough search. Thanks for this one. Best regards from Cologne, Germany.

Was driving home when I remember there was a cache around here. Made a U-turn, found lots of parking (caching on Sunday is great), meandered over to GZ and signed the log. TFTC
