The International Bridge is located in the center of Vail, Colorado. Aesthetics played a major role in the design of this spread box girder structure. During the winter season the bridge is the site of many skiing competition award ceremonies. In the summer, the bridge is a popular site of the Go Pro Games and features the world's best playboaters in an old-fashioned throw-down at the Vail whitewater Park.

Tried to find during Mountain Games weekend but area too crowded .
Came back today but after many attempts, did not find . I do enjoy this spot every time I visit Vail

Looked for a bit and found where my brother and I suspected the cache would be, but there were too many muggles watching the Go-Pro Games to retrieve it.

Hopefully we can try again once the Games are over.

So this is my 8 yr old son and my 5th consecutive outing to the go pro games. But it’s our first one geocaching. We had downloaded all the vail caches two days ago and were checking the site this morning when low and behold - A NEW CACHE!!! We were over at Tribute cache and hustled our way over to I bridge. Extra stealth required this AM but the earlier the better because this place will be super crowded this afternoon. The contents were very relevant to this town and this event - and there is extra satisfaction in being the FTF as this event had become an annual father-son tradition since he was 4!!! (6th games in 8 yrs). Thanks for making this a memorable find - my son was super stoked about the FTF and the contents but the bigger thing for me was making a great memory on a weekend that holds sentimental value. Another great reason on why we cache!!
