A small cache hidden along the newest section of the South Platte River Trail.  Trail access is thru Adams County Regional Park.  The park is open from sunrise to sunset and closed from sunset to sunrise.  This is a scenic walk or bike ride thru the park past lakes and along the South Platte River.  Lots of wildlife and scenic views.

Out on a bike ride with my wife. She turned around a few miles back, but I rode on to finish the trail and found a cache.

Making it to ground zero, I did a quick search of the most likely hiding spot but didn't spot the container. I searched around the area a bit before returning to the first spot again. This time with a more thorough search I spotted the container. The sky is starting to turn dark and the temperature is starting to drop but I am going to push on for maybe a couple more finds before turning back.
