I had so much fun with my first music themed puzzle cache, GC7F7JK, that I decided to use the same two songs to do another one! It is not necessary to solve that puzzle first in order to do this puzzle.

If you'd like to hear these songs, I recorded them for the first puzzle and it's posted on YouTube here North and West

I actually made this a two stage puzzle. So, once you solve the puzzle you'll need to get some information off of the electrical boxes to get to the final stage. No container at Waypoint 1.

This is a hard puzzle! However, there is nothing arbitrary about the correct answers. I structured the options kind of like a standardized test - there are some answers that may seem right, but you are looking for the BEST answer. If you have questions, feel free to message me.

Congratulations to the5millers, PoshCacher and MagicCacher who I'm sure learned way more about music theory then they'd like to think about!

Waypoint 1 is at N 39 AB.CDE   W 104 FG.HIJ

If the second number is 5, add .016 to the North coord minutes
If the second number is 6, subtract .016 from the North minutes

If the fourth number is 0, subtract .098 from the West minutes
If the fourth number is 1, add .098 to the West minutes

Now you're on your way to the final! Have fun!

Thanks for the fun puzzle cache! Was able to solve most of it myself but needed help with a couple of parts. This is beyond my limited musical ability.

So when Benj59 puts out one of his "music caches" (and I put Starflyer 59 into that category) I normally take a quick look at it and then move on. Well I held a puzzle event for Benj59 and there were lots of questions about his music caches and I jotted down enough to get a good checker for this one. Made it to the location, found the number and did the calculations. Short walk to GZ and with a little searching found the container. Everything is in good shape. TFTC!

Another fun musical cache! I made the mistake, I blame the app, of going to posted coords instead of solved coords HaHa!

Messaged the CO and got on track, then realized our mistake. Fun puzzle. I was able to get most, and my prodigy friend filled in the mistakes. Think I got them all now. Try to stump her on the next one, mwahahaha!

Thanks benj59! Logged ?The Music Cache? - The Encore from a ninth galaxy using c:geo!

My son solved this and the first Music Cache. He said he found this one easier to solve but they were both difficult. When hunting for the cache I was with robespierre50 and I had forgotten this cache had 2 stages. Anyway, robespierre50 took me to the 2nd stage where I found the cache in good condition. Cheers.

Found with DimensionGarret, Landen24 and weasel311.

Catching up on my ridiculous amount of logs that have accumulated for months on end.

I signed a challenge earlier this year that required a large amount of caches to be found and I’m finally at the home stretch. Making a hard push at the end of the month here since weather is in my favor and trying to get this thing wrapped up before years end.

I may or may not have enjoyed this puzzle but I did enjoy how you put everything together and the hide. So for all of that you earn a favorite point. But as soon as you archive this I am taking it back.

Found GC7FZ5B - ?The Music Cache? - The Encore on December 17, 2017 using Cachly for iOS.

Some may call me seriously mentally ill. Some may state that I am in a state of mind that prevents social interaction. Some may say I am in a state of mind that prevents normal perception and or behavior. I prefer to say that I tend to do the same thing over and over again, but I expect different results. That being said, I believe we only live one life and I am trying to make the best of it. I thank you, benj59 for placing a fun geocache to fuel my "insanity" or addiction as I call it. I appreciate you bringing me here so that I can try and sign my alias on a piece of paper that you have hidden.

I look forward to finding more of your geocaches. I also look forward to potentially finding geocaches with you one day and sharing stories of our insanity... I mean hobby or addiction? Cheers!

This is a hard puzzle. The geochecker is accurate though. There is nothing arbitrary about the puzzle answers. The questions were designed to be hard but there is a correct/best answer for every one. No need to brute force the answer and the correct checker was earned, not given. Thanks to everyone who attempts this challenging puzzle!

Found at 12:20 pm. Had I not wasted so much time on one of the puzzle errors, and trying to get the geochecker to work, I would likely have been there early enough for FTF. This was a very aggravating puzzle. Challenging, yes, and fun at times...I had to get the keyboard out to try some things. Either the geochecker does not work, or there are some ambiguous/seemingly arbitrary puzzle answers. I finally decided my coordinates had to be right, and the location looked good, so I went. And it was right, or close enough. Never did get a good geocheck, whoever did must have brute forced it. SL thanks
