In Pike National Forest area. Road is not private, but motor vehicles are prohibited.

This is a nice (and sometimes windy) 2 mile hike. The terrain is a dirt road with a little elevation change, but nothing serious. A good bike ride or walk and you should be there and back to the parking area within an hour and a half. Remember to bring your own pen, as the cache is too small to hold one. DEFINITELY bring a camera and post your pictures!!! (The road splits at the top of a hill, and turn right, it is easier to find.) Check out the scenery and be careful and respectful of the area :) Remember to cover back up when you find it!

This is definitely a destination cache. The hike was gentle and fairly easy along the wide service road. We could see the storms around us, mostly towards Black Mountain and Mount Evans, but we were lucky enough to stay in the sun and dry. This is a very exposed area due to the burn, but the views are outstanding. Thanks for the hide!

Last cache of the day on Segment 2. I really had to be talked into this one as I was more than ready to ride straight back to the car, but ernie66 felt it was worth it. Great hide and I was glad there wasn't any wind. TFTC.
