You do not need to go onto the bridge to make the grab

Sirius is a star system and the brightest star in the Earth's night sky. What the naked eye perceives as a single star is a binary star system, consisting of a white main-sequence star  and a faint white dwarf companion called Sirius B.

Sirius appears bright because of its intrinsic luminosity and its proximity to Earth. At a distance of 2.6 parsecs (8.6 ly) the Sirius system is one of Earth's near neighbours. Sirius is gradually moving closer to the Solar System, so it will slightly increase in brightness over the next 60,000 years.

Sirius is also known colloquially as the "Dog Star", reflecting its prominence in its constellation, Canis Major (Greater Dog).[18] The heliacal rising of Sirius marked the flooding of the Nile in Ancient Egypt and the "dog days" of summer for the ancient Greeks, while to the Polynesians in the Southern Hemisphere the star marked winter and was an important reference for their navigation around the Pacific Ocean.

Some say there is convincing evidence that the Egyptian, Sumerian, and Dogon civilizations were founded by aliens from the Sirius star system.

This cache is not an easy grab and will require some significant physical exersion.

Out getting some of the SSS to try to get enough to solve the final. Stopped for this one on the way back to the car. Quickly saw the container but how to best get there? Since FeartheFish is basically useless for these things, developed a plan and got to the log (and I am too old for this stuff!). Give it a fav for being such a pain in the butt to get to. TFTC!

Last day of our Colorado vacation. We made our way from Ft Collins to Denver, then wandered around for a few caches before heading to the airport. Can't say much about this one without saying too much. Fun cache. TFTC!

I was up in Denver today and a few caches caught my attention. This was one of them, so thanks to proteus75 for placing it with a very useful hint! It was an enjoyable hike and search. All is well with the container and log.

Catching up on my logs from earlier this year. Found this one with DimensionGarret, Landen24 and weasel311 and crew. Thanks to adding to the fun of our day.

Found GC72C3J - Sirius on May 10, 2018 using Cachly for iOS.

Some may call me seriously mentally ill. Some may state that I am in a state of mind that prevents social interaction. Some may say I am in a state of mind that prevents normal perception and or behavior. I prefer to say that I tend to do the same thing over and over again, but I expect different results. That being said, I believe we only live one life and I am trying to make the best of it. I thank you, proteus75 for placing a fun geocache to fuel my "insanity" or addiction as I call it. I appreciate you bringing me here so that I can try and sign my alias on a piece of paper that you have hidden.

I look forward to finding more of your geocaches. I also look forward to potentially finding geocaches with you one day and sharing stories of our insanity... I mean hobby or addiction? Cheers!
