As a family, we love going after virtual geocaches. The best of them tend to take you to locations that you might not have otherwise found. Even better, some will teach you something about the history of the area. For this challenge, we want to focus on those special virtual geocaches within the great state of Colorado.


The geocache is at the posted coordinates but this is a challenge cache. You can sign the log at any time but you must meet the listed requirement before you can claim a find online.

I was in the area for another cache and decided to give this one a shot since I don't get up here very often. I found the baggie with the log. It had dried out enough to sign. TFTC

Took a little walk to find this today on my way back from the weekend campout. I have 104 virtuals in Colorado - thanks for the challenge!

Verified by project-gc we qualify for this cash. We made the interesting trick to Ground Zero thank you for the back side hint. However when we arrive there it appears as if the container is not in its original spot. Either it has gone missing, to the ground and away, again or the last geocache put it back in and unusual spot. Hard to know. Given that we left a temporary replacement container at Ground Zero in the hint supported location. If it turns out that the cache is really still there, we will be happy to come back up and acquire the find. Thanks for a fun challenge

I was traveling near enough to swing over and see if enough snow had melted to give this one another try. The south-facing slope was clear. When I arrived at GZ, there was the container on the ground. Dang. I've been caching enough not to make assumptions such as, this cache will be just like the last cache. Replaced in line with the hint. Glad to turn this one into a smiley. Thanks for the challenge.
