This cache has been placed with the blessing of the Steamboat Lake/Pearl Lake State Park Management. Thank you!

This cache is in the State Park, so a pass must be purchased. $7.00 Daily or $70.00 Annual.

Prior to Steamboat Lake being created and, hence, becoming a state park, people ranched and worked this land. This tiny burial plot with 3 graves is testament to the pioneering spirit that made this a great state. Please take a moment to reflect on life 50-100 years ago, and the tenacity of the people who could eke out a living here.

This is a log only, small camo'd bison tube, cache, placed about 40 feet from the graves. You will need to bring your own writing instrument.
