Cache is along a small stream near a forest trail. Elevation is 9116 ft.
Mr. Bailey was lucky indeed; it must have been the Irish in him. We placed this cache in his honor, and we're certain it would have made him proud.

This cache is an ammo can containing lots of nice swag, all in the theme of lucky things: A green rabbit's foot, a lucky casino chip, a wooden coin, and lots of other cool, mostly green stuff. The order of the day is green or lucky, so please try to trade swag in kind and keep the theme going.

The paved road leading to the cache is one of the most beautiful we know of in the area. Ponderosa pine, logepole pine and aspens abound, and a tranquil stream runs nearby. If you have the time, a nice day hike further up the trail is suggested.

Parking is at the trail head at end of a one mile long dirt road, a little rough in spots, but in fairly good shape. A pick-up truck or 4x4 would be nice, but it's easily passable with a car in good weather if you go slow. Parking co-ordinates are N39 31.310 W105 32.206 and the cache is placed about a tenth of a mile up the trail. It's a bit remote, but certainly not in the Wilderness! (hint hint...)

Congratulations to Band-Aids for the FTF!

Have fun and good luck!

My daughter “SweetAubreyKid” is out there is Bailey CO. Her grandparents “cache owner” took her to the cache to verify condition. Still there and dropped a TB. Ironically it’s a Yellow Jeep TB, which is exactly how they all got there, via a yellow Jeep. Happy Caching! Good Luck

OMG we headed down meridian trail and down the hill before we eralized it was off the other trail. So we headed back down the right one and found quickly. Dropped our newly activate pirate/Mary Hyde TB to start its journey. We had already hiked a lot today so we will be back to hike the whole trail soon.

My wife and I were camping nearby and went for a hike and to find a couple caches on the way. Very nice unmarked trail with very little traffic. Hint made it easy to find. Always nice to find an ammo box with lots of swag to look through.
TFTC.

Found it! 2nd find in Bailey .. started off on the wrong trail and soon realized our folly and back tracked. 1st online log in almost 2 years although someone signed the log book last September. Cache is in great condition. TFTC!

Sorry for the late post, but too much caching & not enough logging because I prefer to use my GPS & not my phone in areas where a signal is not guaranteed. I thought I might be able to get to this one from the trail but the creek was flowing too high so I did a U turn back at the trailhead.
