It's Getting Rather Nice Out!

Who doesn't LOVE Ice Cream?

It's the season to go out and get lots of smileys.  Why not grab one last 'find' at the end of the day?

Join the Grand Lake Geocaching Campout Committee for a relaxed event at a classic summertine refreshment spot!  Here are the details:

When: Saturday 8 June, 2019 @ 6:30-7:30PM
Where: Tasty Freeze @ 2309 N Weber, Colorado Springs
Why: Trade Geocaching Stories and get excited about *the* upcoming Colorado Super-Event!

 

Some Potential Activities:

  1. interactive connection Meet n' Greet with other geocachers!
  2. replace text Get Hints!  Solve Puzzles!
  3.  html table div Trade and Discover Trackables!

That's about it.  As per usual with these events, you are not required to purchase anything, and any food or drink you order is your responsibilty (we are pretty cool, but we aren't able to pay your tab cooltongue-out).

As a kid back in the early sixties, this was one of our favorite places to ride our bicycles to.

Nice to see everyone and meet a few new faces.

I showed up a bit late but it was enough time for my daughter to down a giant iced cream oreo. It is always a fun time seeing some local cachers again and meeting some from very far away! After the event, we had to go to a playground to let the wee one work off some of the sugar. Thanks for the fun event! See you all at the campout!
