He's Going The Distance

A series of caches in tribute to The Italian Stallion Himself. A slightly larger than normal match container placed just off of Mt Herman rd. Requires a slightly steep climb up the hill, but nothing to strenuous. Each Cache in this series will get slightly more difficult in terrain as we head up the mountain.

What a great day for caching. My daughter and I set a goal of 10 near Mt Herman and were not disappointed. This was our tenth (woohoo) of the day. Great cache and in great shape. TFTC and SL.

I happened to be in the area looking for an FTF on my birthday and sadly had no luck with that one, but this one was on the same road that was taken to the parking area for the FTF hunt! This was a nice and easy find. Oh, what a cool trail! My phone was bouncing all over the place but after a few minutes, I had the cache in hand. Thanks for having this one out here for us to find today.

- I dug up a worm for fishing. It's the end of the line for him.

gah - followed my trend of making things harder than need be by surfing through the scrub. the hike out was easier. the cache is in good shape!
