The cache is just off of the Rainbow trail. It can be accessed by hiking several miles on the trail. When placing the cache we found a jeep trail near by, but I have no idea what trail it is. Look in the rock pile for an ammo can.

Yep, there it is. Finally got back to this one to give it a smiley . The last post gave me hope and I had more time this year. Last year I was in a hurry. Yep, it's in a rock pile as it says it is. Tftc. Awesome views up here. Aspens are just starting to turn also.

After finding the other near by cache we drove back down the road and then hiked up the hill about 350 feet. Stumbled around a bit was about to give up and then spotted the ammo can just peeking out a bit. Grabbed the TB that's been in here for almost 3 years and will take it to AZ when I go home in a few weeks. Cache is in good shape. TFTC

Logging now for Sunday, September 4, DNF , bummed, but I was in a bit of a hurry because I hiked it on Rainbow trail and was in a hurry to get back. It hasn't been logged for 2 years so I don't know if I just couldn't find it fast enough or if it's not there.

Found a new cache just 550 feet away from this one. The walk to this cache was only 525 feet from my jeep. The container is in excellent condition. I can't believe you hiked up 2.5 miles to place this cache. Dropped a Travel Bug. Only 2 entries in the log, both from 2012.
