Learn about the Wild Boy and his ways, just off the Alta Lakes road. Find this turn off of hwy 145 between Telluride and Opher.
The Cache container( a 1 gallon jug) is painted a camo, but it should be easy to find. Original contents: Local Ore samples,Neck Coolers,Key Chains, a Spiel about the Wild Boy and some cards. Many folks travel up to the Alta Lakes, but few know about this cool side trip, enjoy.

Camping nearby, so we decided to walk around wild boy lake. Took us a few minutes to find but finally found the obvious ground zero. Very pretty and peaceful area. Thanks for sharing!

Heading out to Telluride from Cortez hunting geocaches on the way. Took a few back roads to find a few way off the path, and also found some on the path. All told I managed 9 finds today with two DNF. Was able to place a few TBs that I picked up in California and found one to take back with me. Love to hunt these way out of the way caches. My Subaru Outback got us close to the cache then there was just a short walk left. Thanks for placing these caches and helping us explore.
