This is just an easy cache. From here you are looking down in Boy Scout property. Too bad I couldn't have placed the cache closer to the big meadow down the hill. Have fun.

Having celebrated our Thanksgiving a few days ago with a bunch of our friends from church, we decided to take advantage of this gorgeous Thursday to get up to Woodland Park and hike on some of our favorite trails.

We had to walk the barbed-wire fence line to avoid the BSA property.

We smiled when we found this cache. It was in good shape. Thanks and Blessed Thanksgiving!

Found BCH's very non-weather-resistant replacement... I managed to ink the inside of the container, but this one needs a more official log holder.
Thought it was, mmm... , interesting how the land owners over there 'helped themselves' to about 15 yards of National Forest all along the fence line.

Found Backcountry horseman's replacement. Took a bit. My phone was bouncing around a lot. Finally spotted the yellow I needed to find. I managed a CC on the corner of the log. Thanks!

We found the remains of the log. I did have a yellow replacement container with me. To get it away from the private property we hid it about 16' from GZ in a snow friendly spot.
