Thanks for this great series of geocaches. Barasaur, Thomas, and I set out to work through this series as well as attended a mountaintop meet and great. (That's how its done in Colorado)
For future finders of this series:
there is no trail
the terrain is rough
it took us 5 hours to cover two miles
it is all worth it
While I like all aspects of geocaching from time to time, this is my favorite. Just hiking, enjoying the scenery, and then getting a smiley while hanging out with friends.

Memfis Mafia, my son Thomas, Lucy the geodog and I headed out to find the lonely caches of the High Point Series. Some of these caches have not been found in 4 years. No trails, cross country all the way. Every step earned both going in and getting back out. Every cache worth the fun. Thanks Trigger for the gorgeous views on this trek. We grabbed this cache at the end of the day on our way back home.

The new cordinates are spot on. Glad that someone was able to keep this one going. Parked in the shade and made the find. Thanks for the cache

I started out down the road and at the first scraping sound on the bottom of our Prius, decided it was time to pull over and walk the rest of the way down to the cache. I looked for some time at GZ with no luck. I gratefully read the log of FoCoGeoClan, who described alternate coordinates that were greatly at odds with the listed coordinates. I entered the new coords and found the cache without difficulty. Container is still dry and workable.
The fast running water near the listed coords is clear and pretty.

I've been know to take the hard way to caches and this one was no exception. We were camped out at North Fork campground and went up Pearl Beaver Road to approach this cache. This was the first mistake. There is no need to gain any elevation to access this cache. So instead of back tracking we just cut down the steep forest hillside. This was probably the second mistake since backtracking would have been a lot simpler but a good adventure is usually born of a mistake a two. Once down the very steep hillside we had to cross the creek-sized river. A few of us waded the icy cold water and the others found a log. Luckily we were armed with Zoltiq's coordinates and they were dead on. I realize that the CO may no longer be active but if so please update the cache page so others don't end up searching fruitlessly. Regardless, thanks for the cache and a good reason for an adventure.

There was not a campsite there when we planted it.

We found this today while on a drive up Deadman Road, but like others, hard to be sneaky when there are campers nearby so we enlisted them in the search and told them about geocaching. It was about 90 feet from where our GPS said it should be. Log is pretty damp but didn't have a plastic bag to put it in. TFTC TNLN
