As you walk on the Paul Intemann trail or Ring the Peak have you ever wondered what that big grassy area is to the east of the trail. It was so long ago that this was the Colorado Springs Landfill which is now a part of this open space.

Congrats to hartsdale and shamrock&angel for FTF.

Over two years lonely! Good hide and clever container - we felt lucky to have found the container so quickly. Signed log and replaced container as found. Thanks for the cache.

Coordinates changed from:
N 38° 49.943 W 104° 53.600

Coordinates changed to:
N 38° 49.944 W 104° 53.596

Distance from original: 19.8 feet or 6.0 meters.

I found the container a short distance from its original location. The original placement no longer worked for the container so I left it where I found it.

Certainly a tough one. My allergies got the best of me today and I had to move on.

We met up with Back Country Horsemen this morning and the four of us began a caching hike that ended up taking almost 6.5 hours and covered at least 5 miles or more though Section 16. We ended up finding a total of 10 caches (11 for them) and had a great, but exhausting day.

This is one of the caches that we found along the way. It took the four of us a VERY long time to find this container. None of us wanted to give up on a cache that we were quite sure was still here. Mr. Back Country Horsemen was the one who finally came up with it. Everything is good to go with this container and log.

This is day 1304 of our current daily caching streak. Thanks for helping us to extend it by another day.

TFTC!

So glad to have the huggle along to help search. For some reason he is good at looking outside the box & finding these difficult, sneaky ones. All of our phones had us at a slightly different location for GZ, but when he found it & we moved down to sign the log sure enough my phone had picked up the area as very close to GZ too-must be a bit of bounce in the area.
