Thanks for the nice cache! Cancelled a backpacking trip this weekend due to the weather forecast, and took a day hike here instead. Lovely day, stayed dry, everything is green and lush after all the rain this year. A bit swampy around GZ, but not too bad. The extra bags from last year did their job, log was dry. Beautiful place for a cache, love aspen groves.

I convinced my husband to go hiking and geocaching today to celebrate our anniversary! Of course the dogs came along and we packed a picnic lunch and had a great day! This was the first of three caches we found today. It had us baffled for awhile but we finally found it. The log was soaked so I added a few small sheets of notebook paper and put everything inside two small plastic bags to try to keep it dry. But the cache will require better maintenance to get through the upcoming winter. TFTC!

Clever hide and great spot. However, cache was soaked and log was too wet and pulpy to sign. Sadly I didn't have replacement supplies but if I'm in the area again will bring them. Thanks

Taking a hike today. We hid under a rock overhang for about 30 minutes to let a rain storm go by. Afterwards it was perfect weather. Saw some mountain lion tracks. Didn't see the cows mentioned in the cache page but found proof they were in the area very recently by watching my GPS and not what my feet were stepping in. Do you call that cow scat when you're in the mountains? Great cache and container and such a pretty grove of aspens. Tftc

Found the cache open and the contents are wet. the very clever cache container is not doing well and needs some TLC. I wrote my name on a scrap of paper and tried to put it back together as best as I could. TFTC
