This one was fun to find. The road to it is 4WD but my AWD did fine. As we were looking for the geocache, we looked down in the meadow and saw our very first moose!

Out on the ATVs, had a fun day looking for this one! The little hike up the hill was a nice break from riding. TFTC!

Took the long way, wish we had a 4X4 vehicle. Excellent spot for a cache. Thanks!!!

I had found most of the state forest caches but had overlooked this one. We found Kiwi road (why is it named that?? Kiwis live in New Zealand) and spotted the rock. For people our age this is quite a bit more than a 2 terrain - more like 4.5 but we got up there. The view is wonderful. It's one of the best in the State Forest and it was a beautiful day. The cache is shown as published in 2015 but there are many entries in the log book earlier than that. I added mine and left a photomagnet. Got back to the truck but it's always harder going down than up. TFTC, Thanks for hiding an ammo can and for keeping caching going in the State Forest. Finding this cache is the equivalent of logging 500 urban micros.
NevaP still caching in her 9th decade, accompanied by KP the Reluctant Cacher.

We were on one of our summer camping trips at North Michigan Reservoir when the Campground hosts indulged us with the geocache activities. This was our very first cache EVER and were really excited to be a part of it. This cache is really easy to find and gives a great view of the Never Summer Mountains. Treasures galore and a log book full of entries. I never knew geocaching would be this much fun! Pretty easy walk, and easy to find.
