This is the fourth in a series.  When the Smoky Hill neighborhoods were developed decades ago it included several small neighborhood parks nestled away among the houses, most not on a city street.  Not sure if this was originally supposed to be one of those.  I talked with one of the adjacent owners after placing the cache and he said it is called Sagebrush Park but there is no sign.

What it is now is a catch (cache) basin for rainwater control.  This cache is a camo'd tube approx 1"X4".   Contains a log and a couple of "treasures"  Street parking adjacent at E Berry Dr and Yampa Street with access via cut through; be careful going down the hill towards the cache.  Field has been recently mowed but I expect there will be times during the summer when the grass and weeds get pretty high.

Congratulations to 2lablovers for FTF!

We headed out with a list of 41 caches to complete before making our way over to the 100 Miles of LostinDenver Puzzles! Event. Searched the area for several minutes in the snow and mud, Slipping to much decided to move on.

Cache is there and still in good shape. I circled a bit and then followed BCH's example and trusted the gps. Once it settled at 5ft I began to poke around and finally found it. Had to unbury it a bit. Placed some protecting camo on it to try to keep that issue at bay. Sl, thanks!

No luck today. Couldn't get what I thought was an accurate reading on my phone. Poked around until I drew blood, then decided to hit the road. Guess I'll have to come back.

Found with EasternGirls. I thought of this more as a Micro than a Small. This helps with a cache Challenge I'm working towards finishing. TFTC

Apparently I am no longer able to find a cache without being accompanied by the lovable and always cheerful herndonrd. Today was no exception, as I was out and about caching with herndonrd simply because I make him look good. Usually, he finds the caches while I look in all the wrong places. We were on a special mission today as he had already found every cache we searched for, and acted as my geo-sherpa today. I appreciated the assistance as I was aiming to find exactly 28 caches to satisfy the requirements of one of the many challenges I signed eons ago. This one was right where the cache owner (i.e. you) left it.

Hooray!

After we did the whole sign and replace thing here we celebrated our victory by hopping back into the car and driving off to another one. Thanks for the fun hide and for getting me outside on such a beautiful day.

P. S. No animals (humans or otherwise) were harmed in the writing of this log.
