Heading to pick my son up from day camp. I was a bit early so I looked around for any nearby caches. Spotted this one, I always need more multis. Needed some help at stage #2, but finally spotted it. Quick find at the final. All is in good shape. Tftc!

This was a fun one, had an interesting adventure at one of the stages, but was able to succeed. Liked the final also - happy to be Monarch of the Mountain... ;-) Thanks for the multi!

Went out looking for geocaches with "animjason" on one of the cooler days in quite some time - this was the first of eighteen that I found. TN-LN-SL. Thanks !

We are kings of the mountain now! That was super fun. Gets a fave. Found with Bhob on a chilly morning. Hope it warms up as we go.
Thanks the5millers! Logged “King of the Mountain” from a ninth galaxy using c:geo!

This was a creative multi that gets a fav! While at Stage 2, looking at the instructions for the final, I had a sneaky suspicion where it was: somewhere I drive by daily that I always thought would be a great spot for a hide. Yep, I was right! Signed log. Thanks for a fun one! Nicely done!

Catching up on my logs from earlier this year.
Found this with heh324, DimensionGarret, Landen24 and weasel311. Once I pulled my head out of my rear end we were able to redirect and ale the cleaver find. Giving it a favorite for tripping up the youngsters.

Some may call me seriously mentally ill. Some may state that I am in a state of mind that prevents social interaction. Some may say I am in a state of mind that prevents normal perception and or behavior. I prefer to say that I tend to do the same thing over and over again, but I expect different results. That being said, I believe we only live one life and I am trying to make the best of it. I thank you, the5millers for placing a fun geocache to fuel my "insanity" or addiction as I call it. I appreciate you bringing me here so that I can try and sign my alias on a piece of paper that you have hidden.
I look forward to finding more of your geocaches. I also look forward to potentially finding geocaches with you one day and sharing stories of our insanity... I mean hobby or addiction? Cheers!

TFTC. TNLNSL. What else can I say?
Actually, I can say a lot about this cache. So grab a beverage and settle in if you want to read the rest of this log. It will be another long one.
I am really not a FTF hound but I do enjoy them when I can get them. I had an opportunity to get this last night. But I was so wiped out from the work week that I couldn't bring myself to drive over here last night. I figured by 9:00 after no one had found it that it would be safe until the morning. So of course that means LostInDenver got it last night!
After my son's flag football game nearby I headed over here. Having found over 100 caches from the5millers, I know I'm always in for either a treat or a desperate call for help. Or a combination of the above. Thankfully today it was only the former.
While I have done the Geocaching Challenge of the Month (as issued by the Geocaching Vlogger and LookoutLisa) thing quite a few times, I've taken a hiatus from it more recently. But the5millers gave me a hint that this cache would qualify for the challenge this month which was to use a tool of the trade. Why did I spell out "tool of the trade" right there? I like increasing my word count. So I wrote "tool of the trade" instead of TOTT. Anyway...
When I got to stage 1, I encountered something I don't think I've ever seen in almost 2000 finds. What did I spy with my little eye?? You'll just have to come and find out for yourself! Let's just say it's not what you typically find at stage 1 of a multi. After retrieving what I needed I got in the car for stage 2 which was 50 miles away. Oh wait!! That's a different multi from the5millers. Sorry about that! This stage 2 was a very reasonable distance away.
Stage 2 was a little tricky, but very doable. Only took a couple of minutes to get what I needed. And again - I don't think I've ever encountered that in a multi! But it was very clever.
Stage 3 actually did require that I enter my vehicle, but it wasn't far. And before I had even PARKED I was thrilled for where I was and what I was going to do. As it happens, I've spotted this area several times and have quite literally thought to myself "that would be an awesome spot for a cache!!" In fact, this spot is so cool that I also, very literally, was able to put my phone away and just navigated completely by geosenses to the final. And this is no park and grab. It's a park and walk for sure but definitely not a park and grab.
When I got to GZ I was again impressed with this stage and the camo that you employed. And yes, I may have shouted "I'm king of the mountain" when I got there. Of all the caches you've placed this is definitely in the top 150. Okay really, it's easily in the top 10. Hopefully next time I'll actually get out there sooner and get another FTF on your hides.
Thanks for the hide the5millers. I appreciate you keeping this cache active for everyone to enjoy.

After FTF on Snake Skin #3 FeartheFish and I decided to go tackle this one. Took some looking but made it through all the stages. Nice concept- give it a fav! TFTC!

Today was a lesson in flexibility. My plan was to leave work on time and head up to Fort Collins for some distant caches. I overlooked the fact that I need gas to drive that far.
So, after some caching in Northfield, I compromised and started caching east of Boulder near I25. I thought, I'll grab 30 or so. But my lack of fuel cut than number to five or so. As I headed to the pumps. That's when I got a little help with a puzzle... which sent me through Laffayette to the puzzle and a smiley! I noticed that several FTF's had come out earlier. Surely, I would be too far away to get them.
But the 5Miller multi was still unfound. By now it was 9:30 and iI was still way up north. I can't let an FTF go. I called the CO who said "darkness won't be your friend" when finding this one. Actually, darkness is my only friend :) challenge accepted.
I made the 40 minute drive to the Ranch and started my search. Very clever at every stage! He was right, darkness was not my friend. This one was tough! No spoilers. I love the final. It was full of treasures. I grabbed the TB and the treasure! Then iI thought, what if I put one of my own in there? I haven't released or given one away yet. There ya go. Grab it before someone else finds the cache.
