Decon container located on Snyder Mountain. There is no trail to the cache. Bring a topo map. There is no cell phone coverage on most of this hike.
We parked at 39 39.778 105 25.972. We bushwacked up to Snyder. We then emerged from the woods at 39 40.307 105 26.510. This was about a 3 mile loop, with some road walking to get back to the car.

We did find a cairned trail that starts at our ending coords. The cairned trail is fairly steep and generally follows the powerline. The cairned trail doesn't go all the way to the summit

If you don't want to do a loop, you can park at our ending coords and go up and back on the cairned trail. No matter which way you go, be prepared for off-trail bushwacking.

If you park at our starting coords there are difficult route finding issues with cliff bands blocking the way.

Daisy-dawg really enjoyed her hike and the aspen are spectacular right now.

This hint a dead giveaway. So quit reading if you don't want the hint. The decon container is in a hollow five foot tall standing dead tree. The container is about 4 feet off the ground. It is covered with rocks to keep critters from chewing.

Almost six years without a find?!?! We gotta go for this one!

Found with bhob on a beautiful day for hiking. We even happened on a brand new benchmark on the way back to the car, but unfortunately it isn't log-able online. It got tiring in some spots after doing some shorter hikes earlier today on top of this one.

We picked a pretty good route that avoided any cliffs or large boulders thanks to satellite view. Cache was found and in great shape. There were also some muggle signatures on it too, but happy they leave it be.

Signed and made this cache no longer lonely. Gets a fave! Thanks for the fitting terrain rating.
