You are looking for a clear plastic container about 4x4x7. It's big enough for coins and some trackables.

On a clear day you can see more than 66 miles from here. On the day I hid the cache I could see Mount Princeton which is 67.5 miles from the cache. The picture above is courtesy of ernie66 who got a much better shot than I did. Mount Princeton is one of the Collegiate Peaks in the Sawatch Mountain Range west of Buena Vista. As soon as I realized what we were looking at the cache name sprang to mind.

The main trail into the area crosses the corner of a piece of private property. The boundary is clearly marked. DO NOT enter private property. At the boundary you will need to leave the trail and go west for about 500 feet. You can then go north to the top of the ridge and rejoin the trail.

You can no longer park at the trailhead. I have updated the waypoints with new parking coords that should work.

Having celebrated our Thanksgiving a few days ago with a bunch of our friends from church, we decided to take advantage of this gorgeous Thursday to get up to Woodland Park and hike on some of our favorite trails.
No problems finding this cache (using the hint---ha!) and it was in great shape. Thanks and Blessed Thanksgiving!

Made my way back by here after the walk to the Cemetery challenge one... my effort a capturing the Collegiate view meant holding my compact bins up to the camera eye on the gpsr... Well let's just say I'm sure glad for a beautiful afternoon !! TFTHike

Took my Webelos den on a 3.5 mile hike. Found this along the way. We just avoided the rain and had a great time! The boys were excited to learn about geocaching. Thanks for the hide.

Beautiful spot to sit and enjoy. Very windy but the sky was clear and you could see the mountains well! Cache is in good shape. Thanks!
