Found stage 1. Went for STG 2 but I wasn't prepared and some weather was moving in so I decided to leave before it got bad

Snailman1 and I have talking about this hike since last spring and we picked the best fall day to give it a try.
Fun set of hides and loved the final container.
First time for me to the falls area.
Thanks for the multi cache!

I looked for this one last year and I never found the second stage. I was in the right area, but I just couldn't spot the container. After getting home I read the logs, looked at the pictures and was convinced I could find it. Fast forward to today and Hartsdale and I made another attempt. This time I saw the second stage immediately. The stage was wet but still readable. After writing down the coordinates, Hartsdale and I were on our way. We made it to GZ and after a long search we were beginning to wonder if the container was still there. As I was sitting on the rocks thinking about where it might be when I heard Hartsdale call out. He found it on the other side of the big rock I was sitting on. We added out names to the log and headed out. We did stop by the 1st stage on our way down and found it too. Thanks for the multi!

Found stage one after wading through the snow -- does not look like anyone had been by in awhile. Didn't have time to look for the other stages, and given the snow, thought it would be better to wait until later this spring when the snow is gone. TFTH. I will be back

I'd been hearing stories about this cache for a couple of years now from WingsAndTales. As we hiked, she'd talk about a multi cache that caused her all sorts of problems, and how, a year later, mtn_goat had found it, and she had contacted him for help and intended on going back to finish it up….and then she did. Well now I can understand why it was so difficult for her and others to find! But ernie66 and I came armed with all the updates from the latest found logs. Plus we expected the coords to be off. Interesting area and an impressive shelter someone built! Oil Creek was totally frozen over and very beautiful. This was a fun one. Thank you.
Impressive shelter

We've hiked past this spot several times, so today estes01 and I planned this cache as our main objective. It's a lonely cache, but all waypoints were still in good enough working order to allow us to complete the cache. The container for the first waypoint had a small hole chewed through it, so we replaced the outer container. We enjoyed reading a log entry from several years ago from a 44 year old lamenting that the aging process affected both him and the lean-to below. Fun cache, thanks!

Nice view from the area of the final! I've been meaning to try this cache for some time, and today was the day. Found the first clue easily enough, but the second had me searching for a while. As with previous logs, I also found the coords about 90' off for the second clue so I went back to the first clue and added another set of coords to the clue sheet to help future cachers zero out in the right area as an option if they want to use it. An ammo can is always rewarding at the end of a multi! Thanks for the view. Popular area back in here (I think I saw half a dozen lean to structures built in the area)! Thanks for the cache, SL.

Found the first part of the cache. Will have to wait for another day to go back to continue. Although, I think we were on the slab before finding step one.

DNF although it wasn't due to lack of effort. Found S1 with no problem, a nice cairn there marking the spot. With my fearless geo dog I traversed the slope looking for S2 while the kids, Baga and Geo-husband played in a fort in the trees. No luck finding S2 although there was a fair amount of snow that was too treacherous to navigate up the rocks (I was within 10 ft based on my gps). The kids wanted to climb the big friction slab nearest the falls, so we searched that area for the final, also with no luck, as expected without coordinates. Still, a fun day and we will go back to finish this one.
