Park at the Round Mountain trail head near the coordinates. Be prepared for a round trip hike of about 1.25 miles or more and some steep loose rocks. Please leave the stamp and ink in the cache, and take care to reseal it in the bags. Bring a book to collect this unique letterbox stamp image. It wasn't hand carved, but it is one of a kind and very unique.

Denali41is a dedicated educator in the arts of land navigation. A very useful skill in the mountains and especially for geocachers. A neccessary skill for finding some of Denali's caches or Tahosa's Colorado caches that Denali is taking care of.

This cache is placed in honor of Denali and his contributions to geocaching. We love the Colorado mountains and appreciate the "reasons" to get out and explore them. Thank you Denali and all of you who have the mountain man spirit. And a very special thank you to Tahosa for the exceptional caches he has put together.

I will give you a few options on how to find this cache. The first would be to complete GC6956 GEO-TOURING Rocky Mtn. High or GC516B GEOTEERING - Rocky Mtn. High With Denalli41 Please ask politely it is entirely up to him.

Another way is to start at the first UTM and go straight past the image That is (the last number of the north coordinates of GCA66E #25 - Trails End). There you will find a huge nasty looking area. What is the one kind place to put a cache?

The fail safe way to find this cache though is to simply use math. You will need to find the correct numbers for your calculations. The Chef has prepared a special Salad. Average the salad north and west.
Subtract the Seconds of the UTM 6 to find North.

The Desert final has a pattern in the last 2 digits of coordinates, what is the next logical number in that sequence? Add that number to the west salad seconds.

Thanks for the cache. I've found a lot of Denali's caches, and though this one was a bit easier than most of those, it fit the spirit nicely. I always appreciate his nice cache locations, good writeups with useful info about getting to GZ, and the motivation to hike to places I wouldn't have otherwise.

I used the second method, since I haven't finished the dessert yet. I went the wrong way first, then the right way. I think this takes the record for sappiest cache container I have found, which just adds to the camo. Everything is in good condition.

My goal today was Chef's Special and I decided to make use of my hike to grab a few others. The trail kicked my butt and the hike took a couple of hours longer than I planned, which is no problem, just cut into my happy hour time! Took the second option to find this one and made quick work of it. A nice tribute to a great cacher! Cheers!

Thanks to coCreation for placing a tribute cache to honor one of my very favorite geocachers. Denali41 and I have had many fine caching adventures together and as I was approaching this one I had a flood of memories! All is well with this one. IN - foreign coin OUT - nothing TFTH!!!

Made a snowy trek up the mountain as a group hike after the Let's go hiking 14 meet and greet.
Enjoyed getting this one even though I went the hard way to get to it. Sometimes it's more fun going the hard way. Thanks for the letterbox to honor such a great cacher that has given so much to our caching community and area.

Thanks for a cool cache and a deserving tribute. This one one interesting. I did this one in two parts as this was my second geocaching hike up Round Mountain. I need to come back to do even more. Container in good shape but the stamp was missing.

Went hiking with a group of people working on Chef's salad and UTM. We were able to achieve getting this cache with the group today.
