We wanted to explore this road on a winter day, exercise the dog, and find a few geocaches - but there were none to be found! We decided to change all that. This was a nice spot along the way, where you can climb a little ways from the road and look northward to the twin peaks of Squaw Mountain to the east and Chief Mountain to the west. Look closely and you'll see the fire tower on top of Squaw. Both peaks have geocaches of their own.

10:22:00 AM Decided to get some exercise today. Parked the car at the parking coords for Psiloscops and then grabbed my bike and road to all three caches. (Well, I ditched my bike on the side of the road for Squaw/Chief). Signed the logs and left a scrabble tile in each cache. Thanks! I went straight up the hillside to get this one - and kept my eye out for bears. This just looks like prime territory! I forgot to look at the view! Came down an easier way. Thanks for placing these!

Back in here this morning to look for a few.

It seemed like I had the place to myself.

I chose a very good route up and down and spotted the container in the first place that I looked for a change.

CO-[FTF] with @windatmyback on 12-11-17 at 2:04 pm. The view from the cache is amazing. @windatmyback and I walked up here and located the cache right at the GZ. Unfortunately the road is closed and it was a 1.4 mile walk to the cache this time of year. Thanks for the amazing FTF gift. I left a Marvel hero character. For those willing to wait, the road reopens in the spring. There is also no nearby parking. Did a little CITO during our hike. Tftc!

CO-FTF with @LostinDenver we climbed the steep terrain and got the cache... This is more like a 4 for terrain. Beautiful view, scary climb. TFTC
